Green Juice Smoothies

I’m an advocate of putting organic produce into our bodies.

I include juicies (fresh juice and smoothies) into my diet everyday to make sure I’m getting an abundance of variety when it comes to fruits and veggies. I like combining the juice with the smoothie because it’s not as thick as a smoothie, and I’m getting all the wonderful nutrients and fiber from the leafy greens.

Some of my Favorite Variations:

The Spicy Life

Juicer- 2 cucumbers, whole stalk of celery, pineapple, lime

High speed blender ( I have a Vitamix) 3 cups spinach, cilantro, a slice of jalapeno ( for a big spicy kick leave seeds in) add 12oz of water blend.

Combine juice and smoothie together then pour into glass BPA free containers, they will keep for 3 days in the fridge.

Sweet As Pie

Juicer- 3 apples, 3 cucumbers, 2 carrots

Blender- 3 cups romaine lettuce, small piece of ginger, add 12oz of water blend

Combine juice and smoothie.

Toxin Free

Juicer- 4 oranges, 3 cucumbers, 1 grapefruit, 1 lemon

Blender- slice of ginger, slice of turmeric, 3 cups kale, cinnamon, add 12oz water blend

Combine juice and smoothie
